Your Role as an ER RN

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced emergency setting.
• Triage, assess, and treat a variety of cases, from minor injuries to critical illnesses.
• Manage multiple patients simultaneously while prioritizing care based on acuity.
• Remain calm and composed under pressure, delivering exceptional patient care even in high-stress situations.
• Collaborate with patients, families, and the healthcare team to develop an effective plan of care and ensure appropriate follow-up and referrals.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with organizational policies.
• Work closely with physicians and other hospital departments to coordinate patient care while maintaining a strong focus on safety.

What You Need to Succeed

• Diploma or Associate's Degree in Nursing (Required)
• BSN or enrollment in a BSN program at an accredited nursing school (Preferred)
• Current RN licensure in Virginia or a multi-state compact RN license with VA eligibility
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required)
• Minimum of 1 year of ER RN experience in an acute care setting (Preferred)
• Med-Surg RNs may be considered for cross-training (Night Shift Only)

Shifts Available

• Full-Time
• Days, Nights, Evenings, Mixed (Rotating Weekends)

Compensation & Benefits

• Competitive salary based on experience:
  
  
  • $32.00-$50.00/hr
  • + Shift Differentials:
  • Night Shift: +$3.00/hr
  • Weekend Days: +$3.00/hr
  • Weekend Nights: +$7.00/hr
• Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 with a 2-year commitment
• Relocation Assistance: Up to $1,500
