Description: Flu vaccination or approved exemption is required for all travelers during the flu season. Position involves working in a pediatric respiratory care setting. Must have prior experience in neonatal and pediatric intensive care. Required to demonstrate safe medication administration and follow all safety guidelines. Must adhere to infection control standards and maintain a safe environment for patients. Responsibilities include coordinating patient care and communicating effectively with the healthcare team. Must provide accurate documentation of patient status and treatment. Responsible for meeting the educational needs of patients and caregivers. Demonstrates clinical reasoning and decision-making skills in providing respiratory therapies. Maintaining and evaluating the use of respiratory equipment is essential. Must demonstrate flexibility with workload and assignments. Collaboration with interdisciplinary colleagues and participation in departmental activities is expected. Job duties require a commitment to continuous improvement and adherence to operational guidelines. Engagement in daily huddles and departmental meetings is expected for effective communication. Overall, the role involves ensuring high-quality and compassionate respiratory care for pediatric patients.
