The Role

This is a contract and remote position for a Business Development Representative as part of Paladin Business. You will be the first voice prospective clients hear from Paladin. You will work on a list of leads we provide, reach out via phone and email, and turn cold conversations into warm meetings, helping businesses discover just how much they could be saving. This is a high-activity, high-reward role.

The Pay

As a contracted Business Development Representative, the pay is commission-only. As such, the commission percentages are high at 20% for contacts we provide, and 50% for your own personal connections. Beneficially, most sales provide both monthly residuals and up-fronts, meaning each new client you bring in provides a one-time larger payment and raises your total monthly income. As stated in the role description, this is a high-activity, high-reward role.

What You'll Do

• Cold call prospective business clients using a provided list of contacts
• Qualify prospects and schedule discovery meetings for the Paladin team
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all outreach and pipeline activity in the CRM
• Participate in weekly check-ins to review your pitch and continuously sharpen your approach
• Represent Paladin Business's mission clearly and compellingly on every call

What We're Looking For

• Comfortable on the phone: you don't mind rejection and see every "no" as one step closer to "yes"
• Self-starter with strong follow-through and a results-oriented mindset
• Clear, confident communicator in both spoken and written form
• Organized and comfortable managing CRM workflows and tracking your own pipeline
• Prior sales or cold calling experience is a plus but not required. We will train you.
