Other duties as assigned. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of communications strategies and tactics. Develop and execute communications strategies that position the organization, its clinicians and executives as national leaders in health care. Manage a variety of beats/service lines and identify proactive stories for traditional media, social media, video, or other storytelling opportunities. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Deep understanding of the traditional media and trends in social media [Required] Strong storyteller with experience communicating to multiple audiences via multimedia and new media [Required] Holds strong relationships with local and national media [Required] Understands newsroom (TV, print, online, radio) operations [Required] Strong organizational skills and experience in a high‑volume, fast‑paced organization [Required] Education Bachelor's [Required] Field Of Study Journalism, communications, public relations or related field Work Experience 5+ years of experience in corporate communications, media/public relations, journalism or equivalent combination of experience [Required] Experience working in a traditional newsroom or online news organization [Preferred] Experienced in brand journalism strategies [Preferred] Pay Range $83,699.48 – $155,693.55 Background Screening Requirement (Florida Law) Certain positions are subject to Florida Level 2 background screening, including fingerprinting, as required by state law.
