Housekeeper

Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Associate at Cleveland Marriott East to support exceptional guest experiences. Responsibilities Engage with guests to ensure their stay is going well. Work as a team to accomplish the goal of resort/hotel cleanliness. Keep work cart orderly and properly stocked. Proper utilization of equipment, supplies and guest amenities. Perform thorough cleanliness and sanitation of assigned guest areas. Change and inspect linens and towels daily, following the Green Program standards. Practice safety standards, identify hazards, and report as required. Exercise respect for guests’ property at all times. Care for equipment responsibly. Report to work on time, follow posted schedule, maintain accurate time records, and follow room issuance standards. Remain alert, courteous, and helpful to guests and co-workers. Perform other related duties as requested by the Floor Supervisor. Qualifications Housekeeping experience desirable. Neat, pleasant personality. Strong time-management skills. Ability to work on feet for an extended period. Effective communication skills. Ability to read room numbers, dates, and basic instructions. Ability to move, traverse, and navigate tall and tight spaces, operate equipment, and handle carts weighing up to 100 lbs. Ability to lift, carry, and position loads of at least 25 lbs.
