Oncology Clinical Research Registered Nurse (RN)- day shift

Job Description:

Flexible schedule and increased pay rates!

Performs and documents patient and family education regarding protocols including necessary procedures and changesDetermines patient eligibility for protocol participationAscertains that eligibility requirements have been met, including informed consent to participate in protocolCollects and submits all necessary protocol study forms, test results and data accurately and in a timely mannerFulfils reporting requirements to the Investigation Review BoardMaintains thorough accurate and complete records on all protocol patients including

a. follow up queries

b. dosing modifications with calculations

c. adverse drug reactions

d. update of all protocols upon receipt of amendments, warnings, and other clarificationsActively participates in protocol review Manages all audits of clinical research activitiesActive member of Oncology Subcommittee, Research group and cancer committeeActive participant in tumor board/ conference to review patients for trial eligibility and communicates with practice RN for other patientsAssists with design of protocols, workflows and policies for research. Communicates with leadership about upcoming trials and patients and educates the team on trials.

Education/Experience:

Must have 3-5 years of oncology experience, superb organizational and communication skills, comfortable with autonomous and independent work

Certification/License:

MA RN license

BLS

ONS certification preferred

This position floats to IV Infusion.

Pay Range:

$36.00 - $79.12

This position is covered by a collective bargaining agreement. The pay range listed for this position is the base hourly wage range the organization reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at this time. The pay range for this position is established and governed by the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement. Employees hired into this position will receive compensation consistent with the terms of the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
