Business Development Director

Role Description This is a full-time remote role for a Business Development Director. The Business Development Director will identify and pursue new business opportunities, expand client relationships, and drive revenue growth for Boston Research Services’ B2B quantitative panel offerings. Day-to-day tasks include prospecting and qualifying leads, conducting sales presentations and product demos, preparing proposals and bids, and negotiating contracts. The role also involves collaborating with research and operations teams to ensure projects are scoped accurately, delivered on time, and aligned with client objectives. The Director will monitor market trends, refine go-to-market strategies, and maintain a structured pipeline and performance reporting. Qualifications Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management within market research, insights, or related B2B services. Strong skills in lead generation, prospecting, pipeline management, and closing deals. Experience developing and presenting proposals, bids, and client-facing materials; ability to negotiate contracts and pricing. Knowledge of quantitative research, online panels, and B2B sectors such as Finance, IT, Healthcare, Manufacturing, or similar industries. Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills with stakeholders at multiple levels. Strategic thinking and analytical abilities to interpret market trends and influence commercial strategy. Comfort working independently in a remote environment, with strong time management and organizational skills. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, or a related field; advanced degree is an advantage.
