We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join a respected law firm in Irvine, California on a Long-term Contract basis. In this role, you will provide comprehensive support across the full civil litigation lifecycle, helping attorneys manage active matters efficiently and accurately. This opportunity is well suited for a detail-oriented legal specialist who thrives in a fast-moving environment and brings strong knowledge of California litigation practice.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee civil litigation matters from initial intake through final resolution, keeping case activity organized and on schedule.
• Prepare and revise legal documents such as pleadings, written discovery, subpoenas, and routine case correspondence for attorney review.
• Coordinate discovery efforts by managing document collection, reviewing materials, and organizing productions in a timely manner.
• Maintain orderly case files, monitor litigation calendars, and track filing dates, hearings, and other key deadlines.
• Create deposition summaries and assemble exhibits, hearing packets, and case binders to support attorney preparation.
• Support trial readiness by organizing evidence, coordinating with witnesses, and assisting with exhibit management.
• Submit court documents through electronic filing systems in California state and federal courts while ensuring compliance with procedural rules.
• Conduct factual and case-related research and compile information in a clear, usable format for the legal team.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, court staff, and outside service providers regarding case needs and scheduling.• At least 5 years of experience working as a paralegal in civil litigation.
• Strong understanding of California civil procedure, court requirements, and litigation workflows.
• Hands-on experience with discovery coordination, document handling, and trial preparation activities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and legal case management platforms.
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple active matters while meeting competing deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail.
• Paralegal certificate preferred.
