Job Description

We are seeking two skilled Aircraft Mechanics to support mechanical installation work on aircraft. The role involves installing mechanical components and tubing/piping systems, ensuring all installations are completed accurately and in compliance with applicable work instructions and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Install mechanical components and hardware on aircraft.
• Route and install hydraulic lines, pipes, and tubing.
• Swage and crimp aircraft hydraulic lines and tubing.
• Perform safety/lock wiring and cotter key installation.
• Apply torque/slip marks after installation.
• Apply sealants as required during installation.
• Support pitot testing as required.
• Inspect completed installations for proper fit, routing, security, and workmanship.
• Follow applicable drawings, work instructions, and installation requirements.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Essential Skills

• Previous mechanical installation, assembly, or maintenance experience on aircraft.
• Hands-on experience installing mechanical components on aircraft.
• Experience routing, installing, and securing hydraulic lines, tubing, and/or piping.
• Experience with swaging and crimping hydraulic lines/tubing.
• Experience with safety/lock wiring and cotter keying.
• Experience applying torque/slip marks and sealants.
• Ability to work from aircraft work instructions, drawings, or installation documentation.
• Familiarity with aircraft mechanical installation practices and hardware.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience performing pitot/static or pitot system testing.
• Previous aircraft assembly, modification, completion, or maintenance experience.
• Experience working with hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bensalem, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
