Theidealcandidateisanexperienced federalconstructionQCprofessional withastrongunderstandingofUSACEorsimilargovernmentprojects,CQCrequirements,Three-PhaseControl,RMS/QCS,andgovernmentdocumentation.You’llworkcloselywithProjectManagers,Superintendents,subcontractors,inspectors,andGovernmentrepresentativestoidentifyissuesearly,maintaincompliance,andkeepprojectsmoving. IfyouhavetheexperiencetoleadCQConcomplexfederalprojectsandtakeprideingettingthedetailsright,wewanttohearfromyou. KeyResponsibilities Leadandmanagetheproject ContractorQualityControl(CQC)program . Develop,implement,andmaintaintheProjectQualityControlPlan(QCP). Conductroutinesiteinspectionsandidentify,document,andcorrectdeficientornon-conformingwork. Lead Three-PhaseControlMeetings ,includingPreparatory,Initial,andFollow-Upphases. Monitorconstructionactivitiesforcompliancewithcontractdocuments,plans,specifications,approvedsubmittals,andapplicableregulations. PrepareandmaintainrequiredQCdocumentation,reports,logs,andGovernmentsubmissions. ReviewandtracksubmittalstoensurecompliancebeforeGovernmentsubmission. Trackdeficienciesandcorrectiveactionsthroughcompletion. Coordinateinspections,testing,third-partylaboratories,commissioningagents,andGovernmentinspectors. Enforceprojectsafetyrequirementsandsupportcompliancewith OSHA,EM385-1-1 ,andproject-specificsafetyplans. Conductandcoordinaterequiredqualityandsafetytraining. Leadmishapinvestigationsandcompleterequiredreporting. Participateinpreparatory,pre-installation,andGovernmentcoordinationmeetings. WorkcloselywithProjectManagers,Superintendents,subcontractors,andfieldpersonneltoresolvequalityissueswithoutunnecessarilydelayingprogress. Supportprojectcloseout,includingpunchlists,as-builts,warranties,O&Mmanuals,andfinaldocumentation. MaintainprofessionalworkingrelationshipswithGovernmentrepresentatives,owners,inspectors,subcontractors,andprojectstakeholders. RequiredQualifications Bachelor’sdegreein ConstructionManagement,Engineering,orrelatedfield . 10+yearsofconstructionexperience ,includingatleast 2yearsasaPrimaryQualityControlManageronfederalconstructionprojects . Demonstratedexperiencewith USACE,NAVFAC,VA,orsimilarfederalprojects . Successfullycompletedatleastoneconstructionprojectvaluedat $8millionorgreater . Experienceonprojectsexceeding 10,000squarefeet . OSHA30-HourConstructionSafetytraininganddemonstratedknowledgeof EM385-1-1 . Workingknowledgeof RMS/QCSandGovernmentelectronicreportingsystems . Strongabilitytoread,interpret,andenforceplans,specifications,andapprovedsubmittals. Experiencewith BluebeamandProcore orsimilarconstructionmanagementplatforms. ProficiencyinMicrosoftWordandExcel. Excellentwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills,includingprofessionalGovernmentcorrespondence. Strongorganization,documentation,time-management,andproblem-solvingskills. Mustmeetapplicable Governmentsecurityclearancerequirements . Mustpassapre-employmentdrugscreening. Validdriver’slicensewithanacceptabledrivingrecordandabilitytomeetcompanyinsurancerequirements. Abilitytoliftupto50lbs.andperformfieldinspectionsinactiveconstructionenvironments. Dependable,ethical,professional,andabletoworkeffectivelywithmultipletradesandprojectstakeholders. PreferredQualifications ExperienceservingasPrimaryCQCManageronmultiple USACEprojects . Familiaritywith UFGS specifications. Experiencewith PrimaveraP6,OPC ,orotherconstructionschedulingsoftware. LEEDorsustainabilityexperienceonfederalprojects. Experiencecoordinatingcommissioningandsystemstesting. Experiencewithboth Design-Bid-BuildandDesign-Build federalprojects. AbilitytomentorandsupervisejuniorQCstaffandinspectors. Experiencesupportingclaimsavoidancethroughthoroughdocumentationandreporting. WhyHHI?
