Level B Auto Service Technician

Job Summary:Performs common repairs like brakes, suspension, alignments, and light diagnostics. May assist with more complex repairs.Duties/Responsibilities:Diagnose common vehicle repair issuesPerform repairs on braking systems, suspensions, alignments, and other common needsUse diagnostic tools, scanners, and software to identify and resolve issues accuratelyInterpret technical manuals, schematics, and manufacturer specificationsConduct thorough inspections and road tests to verify repairsEnsure all work meets manufacturer and safety standardsMaintain high levels of accuracy and attention to detailReview and verify repair work when necessaryWork closely with service advisors to communicate repair needs and timelinesHelp prioritize workflow and improve shop productivityMaintain accurate documentation of diagnostics and repairsPerform other related duties as assignedRequirements:Knowledge of automotive systems and repair procedures.2–4 years hands-on experienceOwn tools (basic to intermediate setExceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.Proficient with computer diagnostic equipment and software.Ability to read service and repair manuals.Ability to perform repairs in a timely fashion.Ability to read and interpret repair orders.Must be 18 years or olderValid driver’s licenseEducation and Experience:Dealership or shop experience preferred2–4 years hands-on experienceDealership or shop experience preferredPhysical RequirementsMust be able to work safely in a noisy area with many odors present.Must be able to lift 50 lbs. regularly.Must be able to inspect vehicle to determine repairs needed.Good vision to inspect repair work.Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel and squat to perform repairs and inspections.Must be able to reach below and above shoulder level.Must comply with all safety requirements. #J-18808-Ljbffr Texas Collision Centers Inc
