Financial Consultant, GCO Commercial FP&A

Financial Consultant supporting Medtronic's Global Commercial Office with revenue forecasting, financial planning, and performance analysis across multiple commercial segments. The role combines analytical modeling with cross-functional collaboration to inform strategic decisions and drive profitable growth.
Responsibilities
- Support key FP&A processes including performance reporting and month-end and quarter-close activities
- Lead revenue forecasting activities, monthly outlooks, annual planning, and risk assessments across commercial segments
- Develop financial models, scenario analyses, and business cases to support strategic planning and investments
- Analyze profitability performance and provide actionable recommendations to business partners
- Drive process improvement initiatives to automate and standardize FP&A workflows using digital solutions
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years finance/accounting experience, or advanced degree with 8+ years
- Proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, variance analysis, and management reporting
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with reporting or data visualization tools
- Ability to develop executive-level financial presentations and translate insights to non-finance audiences
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to work across teams
- Experience analyzing financial and operational drivers to identify risks and opportunities
- Knowledge of GAAP and familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools preferred
