About The Firm

Farmer Law PC is an Austin-based immigration law firm. We are building a growth practice around extraordinary ability and business immigration: EB-1A and O-1 for accomplished professionals, EB-2 NIW, L-1 and E-2 for companies and investors, PERM, and TN. We serve researchers, founders, executives, and the companies that employ them, in the United States and abroad.

The Role

You will be the firm's first marketing hire and will build the engine that fills our pipeline. You will own six acquisition channels end to end: paid search, paid social and retargeting, SEO and content, video, webinars, and events and sponsorships. You will also own our eligibility scorer and landing pages, and our outreach to universities, accelerators, and advisors. For every channel, you choose the vendors, run the plan, write the performance review, and make the call on whether it scales or stops.

You will be measured on two numbers: qualified leads per month, and cost per qualified lead. You will have a real budget, a CRM already built in HubSpot, an attorney team who will appear on camera and host webinars, and Claude as a content and production engine that replaces the need for a writing staff.

Compensation & Work Arrangement: This is a full-time position with a base salary of $96,000 annually, plus eligibility for a performance-based bonus tied to qualified lead volume delivered at or below established cost targets. Austin is preferred; however, remote candidates in Texas or Illinois may be considered.

Responsibilities: What You Will Do

•    Build and run paid search across three geography tiers: the United States, English-speaking international markets (UK, Canada, Australia, Ireland, Singapore, UAE, New Zealand), and a gated test pool of additional markets.

•    Run paid social as a retargeting program across Meta and LinkedIn, plus a capped lookalike prospecting test.

•    Own the eligibility scorer and the category landing pages, including the rate at which visitors start and complete the scorer.

•    Run a content engine producing about three attorney-reviewed pieces a week, built on Claude drafts, aimed at people researching their eligibility and route.

•    Run a video program with an outside studio: roughly 50 pieces over the period, with our attorneys on camera.

•    Stand up a monthly webinar series co-hosted by our attorneys and, where possible, by partner institutions.

•    Select and manage conferences and sponsorships, measured on cost per qualified conversation.

•    Open and manage relationships with universities, startup accelerators and advisors who serve our target clients.

•    Recruit, contract, and manage every vendor in these channels: PPC agency, technical SEO consultant, video studio, webinar platform, and sponsorship partners. Month-to-month contracts, kill criteria written before work starts, and a written scorecard at day 45, 90, and 120, authored by you, not the vendor.

•    Keep every lead source measured in HubSpot from first click to signed engagement, and send offline conversions back to Google Ads so bidding optimizes toward signed clients, not form fills.

•    Report weekly against a fixed scoreboard and bring a proposed decision for anything that is behind.

What Success Looks Like

•    By day 30: Paid search vendor selected from three candidates and contracted. Keyword map built across all three tiers. A written target and a review date published for every channel you own.

•    By day 60: U.S. paid search live and through its first correction cycle. Content engine producing three pieces a week. Video studio selected.

•    By day 90: International search live in seven markets. 35 or more qualified leads a month. Your first vendor scorecard written and delivered.

•    By May 2027: About 95 qualified leads a month at a blended cost under $110 each, a content library and video channel producing organic leads, and a clear scale, hold, or kill recommendation for every channel.

Qualifications: What We Are Looking For

•    Five or more years in demand generation or performance marketing, including at least two years owning results across several channels at once.

•    You have personally run paid media budgets of $500,000 or more a year, and you can show the account results.

•    You have hired, managed, and fired agencies and freelancers, and you have written a vendor scorecard that led to a decision.

•    Hands-on command of Google Ads, Meta and LinkedIn Ads, and HubSpot (or a comparable CRM and marketing automation platform), including attribution and reporting.

•    Experience running campaigns in more than one country with market-level budgets and reporting.

•    Experience marketing a considered, high-value purchase where the buyer takes weeks to decide.

•    Comfortable using AI tools to produce content and analysis at volume, with judgment about quality.

•    You write clearly, and you are comfortable being held to a number every week.

Nice To Have

•    Marketing experience in professional services, higher education, executive education, elective healthcare, or financial services.

•    Experience marketing to an international or immigrant audience.

•    Video or webinar program management.

•    Spanish, Portuguese, or another second language relevant to our international markets.
