Patient Care Associate

Fresh Pond Physical Therapy - is looking for a warm, organized, and energetic Patient Care Associate to join our growing team!

As a Patient Care Associate, you’ll be one of the first faces our patients see and an important part of their overall experience at our clinic.

You’ll work alongside an experienced clinical team in a supportive, fast-paced environment where you’ll have opportunities to learn new skills, grow professionally, and make a meaningful difference in patients’ experiences.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome patients with a friendly, professional attitude and provide exceptional service in person and over the phone
• Manage front desk operations, including scheduling appointments, patient check-in/check-out, and answering questions
• Enter and update patient information accurately in our EMR system
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information
• Collect co-pays and assist with basic administrative and reporting tasks
• Answer calls from patients and insurance companies with professionalism and excellent customer service
• Help patients navigate their visits and attend to their needs throughout their time at the clinic
• Assist with inventory, supply organization, and keeping the clinic organized
• Help maintain a clean and welcoming environment, including sanitizing treatment tables and assisting with laundry
• Protect patient privacy and follow HIPAA requirements and clinic policies
• Support the clinical team with day-to-day administrative needs

What We’re Looking For

We’re looking for someone who is friendly, dependable, compassionate, and eager to learn.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous medical office or healthcare experience preferred
• Customer service experience strongly preferred
• Full-time availability preferred
• Experience with EMR systems is a plus
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with Google Workspace or similar systems
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a busy clinical environment
• A professional, positive, and team-oriented attitude
• Strong problem-solving skills
• High school diploma or GED
