Outpatient Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist

Location: Pacific Campus, City, State

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour schedule (08:00 - 17:00)

Job Description: The Outpatient Pediatric Speech-Language Pathologist will work primarily at the Pacific Campus, which focuses on comprehensive maternity services and includes a Level II NICU. This position is responsible for providing assessment, evaluation, and therapy for pediatric patients with language disorders, developmental delays, and other speech-related issues.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and develop treatment plans for pediatric patients.
• Utilize alternative communication devices and augmentative communication techniques.
• Provide therapy for various speech and language disorders, including fluency and oral motor skills.
• Educate patients and families on speech-language pathology techniques and strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and social services to optimize patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
• Active BLS certification.
• Experience with pediatric outpatient settings preferred.
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system preferred.
• Must commit to working three of the five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).
