About This Role The Registered Nurse for the Cardiac Cath Lab provides care for patients undergoing procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Endovascular Suite. This role is ideal for nurses with experience in acute care, particularly in cardiac or critical care settings. Highlights Location : Syracuse, NY Facility : Upstate Medical University Schedule : Full-time, Monday-Friday, flexible days; on-call duties required for off shift weekend & holiday What You'll Do Provide care for patients undergoing procedures in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Endovascular Suite Prepare patients for procedures and assist during recovery Assist in clinical care for all patients as needed in the Heart & Vascular Center Requirements Education Associate's degree in Nursing or equivalent Experience Minimum of 2 years post licensure acute care nursing experience (preferably in an ICU/cardiac/critical care setting) Licenses & Certifications NYS licensed/registered Nurse (or eligible) CPR/BLS required by time of appointment ACLS Certification preferred About Upstate Medical University Upstate Medical University is a leading healthcare provider committed to delivering exceptional patient care.
