Senior Engineer, Technology II (Data Engineering & Architecture)

Senior Engineer position designing and implementing cloud-native data lakehouse solutions for supply chain operations. Role combines hands-on data engineering with solution architecture, requiring deep AWS expertise and familiarity with SAP/supply chain systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement cloud-native data pipelines and ETL frameworks using AWS services and modern ingestion technologies
- Architect data solutions for supply chain analytics using Apache Iceberg and Medallion Architecture principles
- Build and optimize AWS Redshift data warehouse solutions aligned to enterprise analytics consumption patterns
- Define and implement data product-centric architecture and data mesh principles with governance standards
- Lead technical data engineering team responsible for solution delivery and performance
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field with 7+ years data architecture and engineering experience
- Deep expertise with AWS Glue, S3, EMR, Lambda, and ETL technologies like Informatica
- Demonstrated hands-on experience with Apache Iceberg or similar lakehouse technologies
- Proficiency with AWS Redshift for enterprise data warehousing
- Experience designing and implementing Medallion Architecture and data product frameworks
- Familiarity with SAP systems, supply chain data flows, and Blue Yonder planning domain
- Strong programming skills in SQL, Python, Apache Spark/PySpark, and data governance practices
