Housekeeper for Nursing Home and Rehabilitation Center

Job Summary
Fairview Skilled Rehab & Nursing Home is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff. The ideal candidate takes pride in cleanliness, follows infection control standards, and is committed to providing exceptional service in a healthcare setting.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, offices, and other facility spaces.

• Follow infection prevention and safety protocols at all times.

• Replenish supplies and report maintenance or safety concerns.

• Properly handle and dispose of waste and soiled materials.

• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies.

• Respond promptly to housekeeping requests and work collaboratively with other departments.

• Help create a comfortable, clean, and safe environment for residents and guests.

Qualifications

• Previous housekeeping experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, hospital, hotel, or healthcare setting preferred.

• Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, infection control, and sanitation practices.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills.
