Ultrasound Technologist
Location: Atlanta, Georgia
Duration - 13 Weeks
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations in an outpatient imaging environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of recent experience in the specialty and strong patient-care and technical skills.
Responsibilities- Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to established protocols.
- Obtain high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
- Prepare patients for procedures and explain the examination process.
- Review images for quality and completeness.
- Accurately document examinations and patient information.
- Operate ultrasound equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain patient privacy and follow all applicable safety and infection-control standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Provide compassionate and professional patient care.
- Minimum 2 years of recent Ultrasound Technologist experience .
- ARDMS certification required.
- AHA BLS certification required.
- Strong knowledge of ultrasound procedures, anatomy, and imaging protocols.
- Excellent communication and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a clinical imaging environment.
- Monday – Friday
- 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- No regular weekend schedule indicated.
