Description

• Conduct thorough assessments of patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing both standardized tools and observational techniques.
• Craft individualized treatment strategies that cater to immediate goals while addressing comprehensive communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements.
• Engage with patients in one-on-one therapy sessions that target language, communication, fluency, voice, and swallowing enhancement.
• Collaborate effectively with physical therapists, occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, family members, and other stakeholders to establish integrated care plans.
• Provide education and guidance for patients and families fostering progress beyond treatment sessions.
• Participate in periodic inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions to ensure a fluid continuum of care throughout their healing process.
• Maintain precise and prompt documentation adhering to local, federal, and clinic-specific guidelines.
• Commit to your professional growth by staying current with industry advancements through ongoing education and teamwork.

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
• Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified.

Certifications

• State licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist .
• Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be obtained within 30 days of joining.
