RISE Doro is one of downtown Jacksonville's premier apartment communities. As a Maintenance Technician, you'll help maintain the quality, appearance, and performance of a high-end property while working alongside a team that takes pride in doing things the right way. Whether you're troubleshooting HVAC systems, completing apartment turns, or keeping the community looking its best, your work has a direct impact on resident satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Complete service requests in a timely, professional, and customer-focused manner
• Diagnose and repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance, drywall, painting, and carpentry issues
• Prepare apartments for new residents by completing quality apartment turns
• Perform preventative maintenance to help protect building systems and equipment
• Assist with maintaining pools, amenities, common areas, and curb appeal
• Respond to after-hours emergency maintenance calls as part of the on-call rotation
• Accurately document completed work orders and communicate with residents regarding repairs
• Identify maintenance concerns before they become larger issues
• Maintain inventory, tools, equipment, and an organized maintenance shop
• Follow all company safety policies and applicable OSHA standards
• Work collaboratively with the property management team to deliver an exceptional resident experience

Qualifications

• Previous apartment maintenance or related maintenance experience preferred
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, and general maintenance
• EPA Certification preferred (or ability to obtain)
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues independently
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical work including climbing ladders, bending, kneeling, and working outdoors
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
