Location: Aurora, CO Pay Rate: $25/hr Employment Type: Contingent Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm

Why This Role Matters This position plays a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely diagnostic testing by safely collecting and handling specimens. As a key patient-facing professional, you help create a positive, trusting experience while maintaining the highest standards of quality and confidentiality.

What You'll Do

• Collect blood specimens using proper venipuncture techniques (including pediatric and geriatric patients)
• Prepare and process specimens for laboratory testing following established procedures
• Verify patient identity and ensure accurate labeling and documentation
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional environment
• Provide clear and compassionate communication to patients regarding procedures
• Perform both clinical and forensic specimen collection as required
• Manage multiple priorities in a high-volume setting with accuracy and efficiency
• Support various locations as needed based on business demands

What We're Looking For

• A current, up-to-date resume
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred
• Phlebotomy certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections
• At least 2 years of Patient Service Center experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and a clean driving record (if applicable)
• Flexibility for travel, varied locations, and potential schedule adjustments
• Ability to adapt in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Keyboard and data entry experience
• Ability to meet compliance requirements
