Construction Project Manager - Drywall

The company values professionalism, safety, and consistent project delivery. Role Description The Construction Project Manager – Drywall is a full-time, on-site role based in Hialeah, FL. This role is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing drywall projects from pre-construction through completion, including scheduling, resource allocation, and quality control. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating with field crews, subcontractors, and suppliers; reviewing drawings and specifications; monitoring progress; and resolving site issues to keep projects on time and within budget. The manager tracks costs, prepares and reviews change orders, and ensures adherence to safety standards and building codes. The role also involves maintaining clear communication with clients and internal stakeholders, preparing status reports, and supporting continuous improvement in construction processes.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Preconstruction Develop and submit accurate, competitive, and compliant bid packages in response to RFPs, RFQs, ITBs, and other project solicitations. Perform quantity take-offs and prepare detailed cost estimates for all applicable scopes of work. Solicit, evaluate, and qualify vendor and subcontractor pricing, obtain competitive quotes and verify compliance requirements. Review project drawings and specifications to identify scope, risks, and pricing considerations. Maintain accurate bid documentation and ensure all submissions, certifications, licenses, and required deliverables are complete and submitted by deadline. Project Management & Execution Manage projects from contract award through closeout, ensuring execution aligns with scope, budget, schedule, and contract requirements. Maintain accurate project information in Procore, including costs, commitments, procurement, change orders, and project documentation. Prepare, submit, and track change orders, ensuring approvals are secured before additional work begins. Coordinate subcontractor onboarding, procurement, and payment approvals, including invoice review, lien waivers, and collaboration with the accounting team. Monitor project progress, costs, and schedules to ensure successful financial and operational performance. Conduct regular site visits to monitor quality, progress, safety, and resolve issues with field teams and subcontractors. Ensure all work complies with project plans, specifications, contracts, and applicable codes and regulations. Compliance, Safety & Documentation Ensure compliance with prevailing wage, certified payroll, Section 3, safety, and client-specific project requirements. Verify subcontractor and vendor compliance with licensing, insurance, and required documentation. Maintain accurate project records, including safety documentation, RFIs, daily reports, meeting notes, photos, and closeout materials. CRM & Communication Maintain accurate project records and documentation in Procore, including communications, milestones, and project updates. Support client communication, follow-ups, and coordination with subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in construction management, or a related field preferred. Minimum of 5+ years of experience in a Project Manager role. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites as required. OSHA 30 certification preferred. Experience with Procore is strongly preferred. Strong understanding of construction estimating, field execution, and subcontractor coordination. Strong attention to detail, timeliness, and accuracy, particularly in estimates, subcontractor payments, compliance requirements, and documentation. Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders. Highly organized and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously. Working Conditions: This position is full-time, with a combination of office-based and field-based work as required.Standard business hours apply flexibility based on project demands.Occasional travel to job sites and client meetings across Florida is expected.
