Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant

Position: Occupational Therapist Assistant Salary Range: $26.11 - $27.84 per hour Hours: 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday (No weekend rotation) Employment Type: Full Time Certification: COtA (Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant) We are seeking a skilled and dedicated P-Occupational Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a P-Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist to provide therapeutic services to patients with physical, mental, or developmental disabilities. Your role will be crucial in helping patients regain their independence and improve their quality of life. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Occupational Therapist in evaluating and developing treatment plans for patients.
• Implement treatment plans and provide therapeutic interventions to patients.
• Monitor and document patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques and exercises for home use.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for patients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and progress notes.

Qualifications:

• Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapist Assistant program.
• Valid COtA certification.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a clinical setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of relevant therapy techniques and equipment.
