Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
- Valid SLP license in California (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred, but strong CFY candidates are encouraged to apply
- Previous school-based experience highly valued
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
- Comfort working with students across diverse age groups and abilities
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, communication, or swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans designed to meet each student's unique needs
- Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of student progress and services provided
- Participate as an active member of Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and other school professionals to support student success
- Provide consultation and education for school staff and families regarding speech and language development
