You'll practice in a hospital equipped with advanced diagnostic and interventional resources including on-site CT, fluoroscopy, MRI, advanced ultrasound capabilities, and a dedicated support team that allows you to focus on delivering exceptional patient care. Our highly trained technicians and support staff are committed to helping specialists practice at the highest level while fostering a positive and rewarding workplace environment. • The anticipated starting base salary range for individuals expressing interest in this position is $220,000 to $280,000 per year.
In your day-to-day, you will:
• Provide advanced medical and interventional cardiology care, diagnosing and managing a broad range of complex cardiac conditions in referral, emergency, and hospitalized patients.
• Perform and interpret echocardiograms, thoracic radiographs, electrocardiograms (ECGs), and Holter or telemetry monitoring to guide diagnosis, treatment planning, and long-term case management.
• Collaborate closely with Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Surgery, Neurology, Radiology, and Emergency teams to develop integrated treatment plans and optimize patient outcomes.
• Participate in on-call responsibilities for emergency echocardiograms and catheterization procedures as needed to support urgent patient needs.
• Partner with overnight Emergency and ICU teams to provide continuity of care and expert consultation for hospitalized cardiac patients.
• Utilize advanced hospital resources including CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, telemetry, and specialized ultrasound capabilities to support diagnostic and interventional cardiology services.
• Build trusted relationships with referring veterinarians through timely communication, collaborative case management, and expert consultation.
• Guide pet owners through cardiac diagnoses, treatment options, and long-term management plans with empathy, clarity, and confidence.
• Access ongoing mentorship, training, and professional development opportunities, including interventional cardiology and cath lab experience across the Ethos network.

• DVM or equivalent veterinary degree with eligibility for state veterinary licensure.
• Board Certification in Cardiology (DACVIM-Cardiology) or Residency Trained in Cardiology.
