Territory Manager

Responsibilities The Territory Manager is responsible for growing the overall customer base by prospecting for new customers, focusing on Independent Hardware Retailers and Pro Dealer Retailers. Work with the customer to increase total sales volume within a defined geographic territory. Execute the identified strategic initiatives and focus objectives for the field sales organization. Manage the customer relationship and will be the liaison between the customer and Emery Jensen. Analyze each retailer and develop specific customer strategies based on customer needs. Attend industry related trade shows as necessary. Requirements 5 years of Business to Business sales experience preferred. Hardware sales experience a plus. Excellent listening and negotiating skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong strategic thinking abilities with an emphasis on developing a sales growth plan and the ability to insure implementation. Proven ability to manage multiple projects and opportunities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Extensive travel required including overnight travel. Valid driver’s license required. BA/BS degree or equivalent preferred.
