As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors and personnel. Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and/or port users while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access requirements, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned facilities, waterfront-adjacent areas, parking locations, gates, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and report observations.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials, visitor authorizations, and vehicle entry requirements in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document relevant details.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports regarding patrol activity, access issues, incidents, and other security-related observations.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a TSA-issued TWIC.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
