Job Title

Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical Telemetry

Location

Des Moines, IA

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | Every Other Weekend | Every Other Holiday

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care on a Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit
Monitor and interpret telemetry data and cardiac rhythms for assigned patients
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to coordinate patient treatment and discharge planning
Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
Current BLS certification
Experience in a Medical/Surgical Telemetry setting
Ability to read and interpret cardiac telemetry rhythms

Preferred Experience / Skills

ACLS certification
Prior travel or contract nursing experience
