Sales Director - Senior Living

We’re looking for a Sales Director to lead the sales and business development efforts of a senior living community. This role will drive occupancy by building a strong prospect pipeline, developing referral partnerships, creating meaningful connections with prospective residents and their families, and guiding prospects through the sales process from initial inquiry to move-in.

What You'll Do:

• Lead the community’s sales strategy and occupancy goals, using pipeline activity, conversion trends, and market insights to drive results.

• Manage the full sales process from initial inquiry through tours, follow-up, deposits, and move-in, ensuring a positive experience for prospective residents and families.

• Build and maintain referral partnerships with healthcare professionals, community organizations, and other local partners to generate qualified leads.

• Develop and execute local outreach and marketing strategies, including events, sponsorships, advertising, and other initiatives that increase visibility and lead generation.

• Maintain accurate CRM and sales reporting, communicate trends to leadership, and identify opportunities to improve sales performance.

• Monitor the competitive landscape, including competitor offerings, pricing, occupancy, incentives, and sales strategies, and recommend opportunities to strengthen market position.

• Partner with community leadership and department teams to coordinate sales, census reporting, move-ins, and ongoing resident and family engagement.

• Manage assigned sales and marketing expenses and support overall community operations, including serving as Acting General Manager when assigned.

What We're Looking For:

• 3+ years of experience in sales, business development, marketing, or a related field; senior living, healthcare, or hospitality experience preferred.

• Proven ability to build relationships, generate leads, manage a sales pipeline, and achieve sales or occupancy goals.

• Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively.

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred.

Starting compensation will be determined based on relevant qualifications and applicable wage requirements. The posted range reflects the anticipated starting range for the position.
