Yard Worker / Rental Equipment Technician
Wolverine Rental
Wolverine Rental is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Yard Worker to join our team. This position is responsible for preparing, inspecting, and maintaining rental equipment before and after customer rentals while ensuring our yard and shop remain organized and professional.
Responsibilities:
- Inspect, clean, fuel, and service rental equipment before and after rentals
- Perform basic maintenance and identify equipment requiring repairs
- Load and unload equipment safely for customers and delivery personnel
- Assist customers with equipment pickup and return procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe yard and shop environment
- Complete equipment checklists and document any damage or service needs
- Assist with inventory management and general yard duties
Qualifications:
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments year-round
- Ability to lift, move, and operate equipment safely
- Mechanical aptitude and equipment experience are preferred
- Valid driver's license preferred
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- Closed Saturdays between Thanksgiving and Easter
