Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) degree, active Physical Therapy Assistant license, and 1+ years Physical Therapy Assistant experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Key Qualifications:

• Current licensure or eligibility as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) or Physical Therapist (PT)
• Prior experience in a school-based or pediatric physical therapy setting strongly preferred
• Familiarity with IEP processes and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent communication and organization skills
• Adaptability to travel within the county to various school sites as needed
• Commitment to upholding ethical standards and promoting a positive, inclusive environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Work under the supervision of licensed PTs to deliver direct therapy services to students
• Assist in evaluating and documenting students’ progress on therapy goals
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and other educational staff to support student programs
• Prepare and implement designated therapy activities and maintain accurate records
• Support students’ participation in curricular and extracurricular activities
• Contribute to meetings and team discussions regarding student needs and progress
