Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Medical Surgical unit with a patient-to-nurse ratio of up to 5:1
• Care for patients presenting with conditions including COPD, pneumonia, chest pain, post-operative needs, and swing bed cases
• Monitor, assess, and document patient status throughout the night shift in a 19-bed unit
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes
• Assist other units as a helping hand when needed, with additional float opportunities available for those qualified in CCU or ER

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
• Current Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
• Valid, unexpired driver's license (copy required at time of submission)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience in a Medical Surgical setting
• Experience or cross-training in CCU or Emergency Room environments
