Role Overview As a Nurse Assistant, you'll play a vital role in ensuring patient safety, comfort, and care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). Your contributions directly support the RN in delivering high-quality care, responding to emergent situations, and fostering a compassionate patient experience. What You Will Do Assist the RN in providing patient care to meet safety and comfort needs. Provide input to help plan and implement patient care. Uphold Henry Ford Health's Team Member Standards of Excellence in all interactions. Qualifications What You Will Need Required Qualifications High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Completion of a Nurse Assistant program (e.g., Patient Care Technician or Patient Assistant Technician) OR current enrollment in a nursing program with successful completion of Fundamentals of Nursing OR foreign-trained RN without a Michigan RN license OR Medical Assistant program with or without experience OR at least one year of experience in a similar role. Preferred Qualifications CNA certification preferred.
