Overview of the Accounting Assistant Role: As an Accounting Assistant, you will be a key player in the firm's financial operations. You will assist with a variety of accounting tasks, including processing transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the accounting team with financial reporting. Your role will be essential in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of the firm's accounting processes. Key Responsibilities: * Process accounts payable and receivable transactions. * Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate financial records. * Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements. * Perform data entry and maintain accounting databases. * Support month-end and year-end closing procedures. * Address general accounting inquiries and provide support to the accounting team.
