Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP)

Zeus Fire & Security is looking for a Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) to support our Gallaher & Associates hub in Tennessee. This is a hands-on, hybrid role: you can be based out of either our Nashville or Knoxville office, with the flexibility to travel between the two when the business needs it.

As HRBP, you'll be the first point of contact for employees and managers across a range of HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, payroll, employee relations, and benefits. You'll also serve as a strategic partner to leadership, helping to anticipate and resolve HR needs before they become problems.

What You'll Do

• Act as the first line of support for employees and managers with HR-related questions or concerns.
• Help employees and managers understand and use HR tools, processes, and policies to improve performance and ensure compliance.
• Process payroll accurately and on time, and follow up to resolve any discrepancies.
• Lead talent acquisition and recruitment for the region, and build the talent pipeline and succession plans that keep internal talent growing.
• Conduct employee onboarding and offboarding.
• Resolve complex employee relations issues and address grievances.
• Maintain accurate, current, and complete employee records.
• Analyze data trends and metrics with the HR team to develop solutions, programs, and policies.
• Assist in administering compensation and recognition programs, including bonuses and merit increases.
• Support positive employee relations through fair, consistent treatment and sound administration of policies.
• Partner with the HR team to build a culture of excellence where people feel engaged and inspired to deliver results.
• Maintain knowledge of and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Take on other HR duties and special projects as needed.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
• A minimum of five years of experience in Human Resources.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Integrity, professionalism, and discretion with confidential information.
• Strong time management and a proven ability to meet deadlines.
• The ability to interpret and apply relevant laws, regulations, ordinances, and policies.
• A talent for quickly building relationships and trust, and collaborating across teams to move goals forward.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency with HRIS, talent management systems, and Microsoft Office.

Work Environment

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
• Ability to travel between the Nashville and Knoxville offices as needed.
