Marketing & Engagement Manager (McDaniel College)

Overview AVI Foodsystems is looking for an energetic and optimistic team member to fill the role of Marketing Specialist at McDaniel College in Westminster, MD. This is a full-time position. Responsibilities Marketing programs and engagement execution to include dining events, engagement calendars, and other promotional initiatives. Develop and execute revenue growth and meal plan strategies to increase participation of the dining program. Digital, social and communication management for all print and digital mediums on campus. Elevate guest experience and maintain brand standards through conducting regular audits and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement. Listen and effectively respond to the needs of the Resident Director and Area Marketing Manager. Stay on top of latest trends and insights to keep the dining program ahead of the trends. Closely monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the various marketing programs. Requirements Has a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or graphic arts. 1 to 2 years experience in marketing, communication, advertising, design preferred. Understanding and experience with managing social media platforms and content strategy. Design skills with the ability to create and edit marketing collateral for events and promotions preferred. Creativity to execute and create fun interactive events with college aged students. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to collaborate with diverse teams and manage multiple directions effectively. Strong organizational and project management skills. Ability to plan and execute all stages of events throughout the academic year. Experience coordinating a wide range of events, from pop-ups and themed dinners to large-scale, fully branded campus campaigns. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Cloud software products.
