APP Outpatient Neurology

This position is for a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to work as an Outpatient Neurology Advanced Practice Provider within the ECU Health outpatient neurology practice in Roanoke Rapids, part of the ECU Health Physicians network. The role is clinic-based (outpatient only) and supports neurological care in the local community.

Clinical Responsibilities:

• Provide general neurology patient assessments and ongoing management of adult neurological conditions.
• Treat patients with a wide range of neurologic issues (e.g., headaches, movement disorders, seizure disorders, neuropathy) in an ambulatory clinic setting.
• Collaborate closely with neurologists based elsewhere in the ECU Health network via telemedicine for supervision and support.

Schedule & Work Structure:

• MondayFriday, 8:00 am5:00 pm typical outpatient hours.
• No call or overnight responsibilities strictly outpatient practice.
• The APP may serve as the sole onsite neurology provider in Roanoke Rapids with neurologist support available remotely.
• PERM RATES to be discussed between client and provider.
