This physician-led specialty group partners with a leading regional hospital system and a network of inpatient rehabilitation and skilled nursing facilities to deliver expert pain management in high-acuity settings. As a Physician Assistant on this team, you will round on complex patients, collaborate closely with physician leaders, and contribute to building an organization designed for long-term scale. This is an opportunity for an experienced inpatient APP who thrives in fast-paced environments and wants to be part of something growing.



Position Highlights

• Full-time inpatient PA role within a high-acuity consultative pain management group
• Day and night shifts available with 7-on / 7-off scheduling and predictable time off
• Consultative focus with no procedural responsibilities
• Direct physician support within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team
• Ground-floor opportunity with a rapidly expanding group across the Greater Tampa Bay market

Practice Environment

• Physician-led specialty group covering hospitals, inpatient rehab facilities, and skilled nursing facilities
• Primary site is a high-acuity regional medical center with expanding coverage across the Tampa Bay area
• Entirely inpatient-based model with no outpatient clinic component
• APP scope includes pain consults, medication management, rounding, and inpatient care team coordination
• Substantial organizational growth new facility covering and census

Candidate Requirements

• Valid and unrestricted Florida PA-C license or APRN license
• DEA license with prescriptive authority (or eligibility)
• Minimum 2 years of inpatient acute rounding experience required
• Experience in acute care, pain management, hospitalist medicine, internal medicine, PM&R, or similar inpatient specialty preferred
• Comfort with high-acuity hospital rounding and consultative inpatient medicine
• Willingness to assist in covering nights and participate in flexible shift scheduling
• Strong multitasker with high attention to detail and independent clinical judgment
• Team-oriented and adaptable in fast-paced, high-volume settings
