This facility is a major 600+ bed medical center that serves as both a Level II Adult Trauma Center and Level II Pediatric Trauma Center. Advanced Practice (PA) - Physician Assistant - Neurosurgery Job Details:
Work with a well-established, high volume neurosurgery practice alongside 5 neurosurgeons and 4 advanced practice providers
Serve adult and pediatric patients in an inpatient setting with OR first assist responsibilities
Focus on inpatient rounding and surgical assistance with no outpatient responsibilities
Full-time position requiring 40 hours per week with minimum two weeks per month commitment
Call schedule rotated among PAs with 1:4/5 weekend call and 1:4/5 night call responsibility
Must maintain active Florida license with current board certification
Minimum 2 years of experience as advanced practice provider in Neurosurgery OR required
ACLS and BLS certifications required
Credentialing timeframe 30-60 days
Patient encounters vary per shift
