Launched on September 1, 2023, Prismic Life currently manages over $17 billion of liabilities. Role Overview: We are seeking an Associate Investment Strategy to join the Prismic Investments team. This role offers a unique to help shape investment strategy within a rapidly growing reinsurance platform while gaining exposure to a diverse range of asset classes, including private credit, asset-based finance, structured products, and other alternative asset classes. The Associate will work closely with Portfolio Management, Asset-Liability Management (ALM), Risk, and Prismic’s strategic investment partners. The role will support investment evaluation, portfolio construction, performance monitoring and strategic initiatives that contribute to the continued growth of Prismic’s investment platform. Key Responsibilities:

• Support the development and implementation of investment strategies across asset-based finance, residential mortgage loans, private placements, direct lending and other alternative asset classes
• Evaluate potential investment opportunities, including relative value, risk-adjusted returns, portfolio fit, and capital considerations
• Conduct market, sector, asset-class and investment level analysis to identify trends and potential opportunities
• Monitor portfolio exposures, concentration risks, capital deployment, investment performance, and other key portfolio metrics
• Partner with Portfolio Management, Risk, ALM, Finance and other stakeholders to support portfolio optimization and investment decision-making
• Work with strategic investment partners, including asset managers and other institutional counterparties, to assess new investment opportunities and portfolio solutions
• Prepare investment analyses, portfolio insights, recommendations and presentations for senior members of the Investment team
• Support the development of scalable investment processes, analytics, reporting and tools as Prismic’s investment platform continues to grow
• Contribute to ongoing portfolio reviews and help identify emerging risk and investment opportunities
• Participate in cross-functional initiatives designed to enhance Prismic’s investment capabilities and overall portfolio performance
• Travel to Bermuda and US-based Prismic locations as needed

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of relevant investment experience preferably across private credit, asset-based finance, structured products, private placement, direct lending or other alternative asset classes
• Strong analytical skills and demonstrated experience evaluating investment opportunities and portfolio performance
• Understanding of portfolio construction, risk-adjusted returns, credit analysis, and investment risk
• Experience working with institutional investment portfolios, asset managers, insurance companies, reinsurance companies, or other financial institutions preferred
• Familiarity with insurance company investing, asset-liability management, and capital considerations is a plus
• Ability to synthesize complex investment and market information and translate it into clear insights and recommendations
• Strong financial modeling, analytical and presentation skills
• Ability to work effectively across functions and with both internal and external stakeholders
• Strong communication skills with the ability to present investment analysis and recommendations clearly and concisely
• Self-motivated with an ownership mindset and ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Engineering or related discipline
• CFA designation or progress toward the CFA designation is preferred
