Irrigation Technician
The Irrigation Technician is responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of residential and commercial irrigation systems. This position requires strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to ensure irrigation systems operate efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of irrigation, landscape, plumbing, or related field experience
- Knowledge of irrigation controllers, valves, sprinkler heads, and piping systems
- Ability to diagnose and repair irrigation system issues
- Experience using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and manage daily service routes
- Must be dependable with regular and punctual attendance
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain a clean driving record
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds and perform physical labor as needed
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair residential and commercial irrigation systems
- Troubleshoot controllers, valves, wiring, sprinkler heads, and water distribution issues
- Perform seasonal system startups, inspections, and repairs
- Operate hand tools and equipment safely
- Identify opportunities for system improvements and water conservation
- Maintain accurate service records and documentation
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures
- Provide professional and courteous customer service
Schedule
- Monday through Friday
- Day Shift 7:30-4:30 with overtime possible
- Saturdays if needed
- Full-Time
