Locum Tenens Emergency Medicine Physician OpportunityPhysician opportunity in Emergency Medicine with SCP Health - Locums in Raceland, Louisiana. This locum tenens assignment with Ochsner St. Anne Hospital offers flexible coverage from August 3, 2026, to ongoing. The shift schedule includes 24-hour coverage with 24 hours per shift.This position covers a patient volume of 52 patients per day, with a case mix consistent with Emergency Medicine procedures. The facility is equipped with 6 ED beds, 2 Fast Track, 4 ICU beds, and 35 hospital beds. The EMR system used is EPIC, and support staff includes NPs and PAs.Required hospital privileges, board eligibility or certification in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Family Medicine, an active unrestricted LA medical license, DEA license with LA address, LA Controlled Substance and Supervising Physician License, active DEA and CDS, certifications including ACLS, ATLS, PALS, BLS, residency completion in EM, FM, or IM, CME past 2 years, 10 hours Trauma/Stroke CMEs annually, and case logs past 2 years are needed.Duties include providing 24-hour physician coverage in the Emergency Department, supervising and overseeing NP/PA coverage during 10-hour shifts, managing care for patients presenting with stroke, trauma, and other emergency conditions, completing required sedation modules during onboarding and reappointment, and maintaining compliance with all immunization, case log, and CME requirements.
