Requirements *SCP APPROVED FOR IMLC AS OF 07/08/2026* **Required for presentation: must have actual state license board certification in hand, and active DEA for the state of application and CSR if needed per state in hand.** Position Overview- Patient Volume: 19,000 annual ED volume Coverage Model: 24 hour Physician Coverage, 10 hour NP/PA coverage Number of Beds: 6 ED Beds, 2 fast track, 4 ICU beds, 35 hospital beds EMR: EPIC Fellowship/Residency: EM, FM, IM, General Surgery Qualifications Education: EM, FM, IM, General Surgery Licensure: Louisiana Board Certification: BC/BE Badges: ATLS, ACLS, PALS, BLS Facility & Clinical Details About Ochsner St. Anne Hospital - EM: Ochsner St, Anne Hospital serves Lafourche Parish and the surrounding areas as a full service, critical access hospital. Dedicated to meeting the evolving healthcare needs of its community, the hospital provides services including stroke care, acute medical and surgical care, obstetrics and gynecology, cardiology, urology, behavioral health, an infusion center and wound care. Ochsner St. Anne was recognized among the 2025 Top 100 Critical Access Hospitals in the US by The Chartis Center for Rural Health. MD/DO - Education/Training Requirements Residency Completion in EM, FM or IM MD/DO - Clinical Experience Requirements New Grad Accepted MD/DO - License Requirements Active unrestricted LA Medical License, DEA License w/ LA address, LA Controlled Substance & Supervising Physician License (PA supervision) MD/DO - Board Cert+N2ification Requirements BE/BC in Emergency Medicine, or Internal Medicine or Family Medicine MD/DO - Merit Badge Requirements ACLS, ATLS and PALS if not BC in EM or EM trained. MD/DO - Immunization Requirements Flu (within current flu season) | TB *must be TBGold** (past 12 months or Chest X-Ray with positive TB Vaccinations | Covid vaccine MD/DO - Case Log Requirements Documentation of case logs for past 2 years. MD/DO - CME/CEU Requirements Proof of completed CME's for the last two years. and 10 hours of Trauma/Stroke CMEs annually MD/DO - Facility Procedure Requirements MSO sends out sedation modules providers must complete during onboarding and during reappointment MD/DO - Malpractice Coverage Requirements "$100K/$300K Coverage plus enrollment in LPCF (locums - must be enrolled a minimum of 90 days at a time)" MD/DO - Additional Details Must meet supervising physician requirements for NP/PA oversight.
