In this role, you will deliver manufacturing processes and tools from concept through implementation, ensuring all workstations and processes meet stringent quality, safety, and manufacturing efficiency standards. Perform DPA5 checks and raise identified part or process issues to the program team. Repeat checks as D&R CAD matures through UNV2. Support establishing the virtual build sequence and virtual builds. Support P-Release. Complete design-phase Health Chart assessments. Create and update PFMEAs to support the Conformance Letter. Support development and sign-off of the Special Characteristics Cascade and Agreement Form (SCCAF). Develop program cost analyses from Vignette through PA. Define tooling and equipment needs, including: DC and pneumatic toolingFixtured tooling and lift assistsErgonomic toolingMajor equipment and automationPallets, details, and subassembly build-up conveyanceError-proofingSupport cycle-line layout development and the workstation engineering work stream. Support simulation development by providing benchmark data for equipment availability, MTTR, and MTBF. Adhere to the master schedule. Work with the Facility team to identify needs. Develop tooling design and build statements of work (SOWs). Develop process RFQs and kick off supplier POs; reassign POs to the PI team at FDJ. Lead pre-FDJ shop buy-offs.
