Overnight Emergency Care Coordinator PetVet Care Centers – Olympia Pet Emergency is seeking an experienced coordinator to join our team. Position Overview The Overnight Emergency Care Coordinator plays a key role in our high‑performing organization, supporting the hospital with administrative, customer service, and operational tasks. Key Responsibilities Provides excellent customer service in person, over the phone, and during high‑stress situations. Manages lobby flow, addresses concerns, calms distressed owners, and schedules appointments. Handles basic medical emergencies for pets and owners, ensuring safety and well‑being. Assists with medication pickups, inquiries, and provides information about services and products. Inputs and manages data in practice management software, including billing and accounts. Assists with retail sales, weighing pets, processing faxes, and maintaining records. Reconciles cash drawer and performs end‑of‑day duties for accurate financial transactions. Qualifications (Required) High school diploma or GED, or equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience. At least 1 year of veterinary reception experience. Knowledge of clerical procedures and ability to organize files and records. Excellent customer service skills, providing courteous and prompt assistance. Accurate cash handling and cashiering abilities. Strong multitasking skills with attention to detail. Ability to work at a keyboard or workstation for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, climbing, and lifting animals up to 50 pounds. Preferred Skills (Nice to Have) 2 or more years of veterinary reception experience. Schedule Overnights from 6 PM – 4 AM, Wednesday‑Saturday. Training is day shift from 8 AM – 6 PM, Monday‑Thursday.
