Pulmonologist/Intensivist/Sleep Specialist, Assistant/Associate Professor, Internal Medicine, Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine (184882) Location: Stony Brook, New York Open Date: Jun 10, 2026 Deadline: Sep 10, 2026 at 11:59 PM Eastern Time Job Description The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at Stony Brook University Hospital provides 24‑hour intensivist coverage and manages a closed 20 bed Medical Intensive Care Unit. The Division offers inpatient and outpatient consultative services in Pulmonary Hypertension, Lung Cancer Evaluation, Interventional Pulmonary, and Sleep Disorders. Faculty engage in research on aerosolized drug delivery, pulmonary inflammatory cytokines, cardiac arrest resuscitation, sleep‑related somatic syndromes, and critical‑care outcomes. The position will involve patient care, teaching, and academic scholarship, with opportunities to develop clinical or basic research projects and collaborate with fellows in a full academic research year.
