Welder Lv. 1 Details: Temp-to-Hire position $ 22.00 / hour Full Time work available First Shift (Monday through Thursday from 05:45am to 04:30pm) Fit and weld structural and non-pressurized metal assemblies using MIG and Flux Core techniques. Prepare weld seams and interpret engineering drawings to correctly lay out fabricated parts. Use air and hand tools to complete fabrication tasks and ensure weldments meet quality standards. Perform plasma and torch cutting as needed for component preparation. Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow required PPE and work-order procedures. Welder Lv. 1 Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required. Vocational or Trade School training preferred. 12 years of welding experience in a manufacturing environment preferred. Must have the ability to be respirator certified (PAPR system use). Ability to read blueprints and interpret weld symbols accurately. Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs., bend, stoop, squat, crawl, climb, and work in confined spaces Applicant may be subject to a background check Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment *A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
