Welder/Fitter Details: Temp-to-Hire position $ 24.00 / hour Full Time work available Second Shift (Monday through Thursday from 03:30pm to 02:00am) Fit and weld structural steel components using blueprints and weld symbols Perform MIG welding to meet quality and production standards Measure, cut, and grind materials for proper fit-up Inspect welds and finished parts for accuracy and strength Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area Welder/Fitter Qualifications: Must be able to pass both a written weld test and a hands-on (manual) weld test Proven experience as a welder/fitter, preferably with structural steel Ability to read and interpret blueprints and weld symbols Basic math and measuring skills required Applicant may be subject to a background check Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment *A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
