• Work collaboratively with radiologists and referring physicians to guarantee the delivery of high-quality diagnostic images
• Ensure the imaging equipment is properly maintained and report any technical issues
• Keep thorough documentation of procedures and maintain patient records in the electronic medical system
• Continuously update your knowledge of advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Preference for completion of a CAAHEP-accredited program in Sonography

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or an equivalent body
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred
